FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of filler chevron-structure polymer sheet of unlimited length. Method comprises scoring of blank both sides. Then, blank is bent to make it embossed with dihedral angles on scoring lines on applying force at chevron structure nodes along zigzag lines of recesses on blank both sides by means of assembly shafts with system of pus rods. Now calibration is performed by applying force to solid structure lateral sides. Note here that bending moment at sheet blank main transformation step is generated by distributed force along zigzag recesses and ledges on chevron structure. Proposed device comprises winder, pre-crimping mechanism, crimp drive, guide and calibrator, all being arranged successively and coupled with reduction gear. Crimp drive is made up of N pairs of coupled drive shafts supporting sprockets with their beams directed radially and interconnected by assembly vanes.
EFFECT: chevron structure filler produced by cold procedure, higher efficiency and quality.
