FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: reactor of installation for retarded coking consists of case 1 with upper 2 and lower 3 bottoms and of circular support 10 with width of plate 10-30 % of reactor diameter set on foundation 16. A lower part of case 2 of the reactor has a conic shape with external angle of incline of walls to the circular support as high, as 75 degrees and is equipped with a stretching device attached to case 1 of the reactor by means of support elements. The upper part of case 1 of the reactor is of a cylinder shape. Ratio of the cylinder part of case 1 of the reactor to the conic part is 1:3. Circular support 10 is located on thrust rolling bearing 11, width of which corresponds to width of circular support 10.

EFFECT: release of additional thermal stretching stresses in walls of reactor at coke cooling and increased reliability of operation.
