FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed method, equipment defects are defined from its electromagnetic radiation it comprises recording integral powers of quasi harmonic electromagnetic oscillations in informative frequency bands of vertical polarisation power spectra of identical controlled and reference equipment to define defect of each voltage input of said equipment. Q-factor and resonance frequencies of oscillation circuits comprising EPG elements encased in metal casing are defined. Optimum informative frequency band I extracted in radiation power spectra of controlled and reference EPG. Maximum electromagnetic oscillation power intensities are registered in optimum informative frequency band are recorded to define unsoundness of each internal element of said equipment. Conclusion on its operating conditions are made proceeding from unsoundness os each voltage input and internal element.
EFFECT: higher reliability of diagnostics.
