FIELD: physics, measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for remote noise and quasi-noise diagnosis of electric power generating equipment under tension. The method comprises measuring in equivalent conditions of energy spectra of electromagnetic radiation vertical polarisation for controlled and same-type reference equipment samples at frequencies of action of flicker noise, white noise and quasi-harmonic components with supply frequencies, its upper harmonics and with resonance frequencies of properly operating oscillatory circuits of said equipment. The method then includes selecting in the measured spectra flicker and white noise components and determining separation frequencies ƒ1 and ƒ2 of regions of dominating action of said noise components in energy spectra of vertical polarisation for the reference (first) and controlled (second) equipment samples, and finally measuring in said spectra intensity of flicker noise at maximum frequency of the dominating action of the flicker noise component in the spectrum of the controlled (second) equipment sample, i.e., at frequency ƒ2, and from the comparison of the measured intensities in spectra for the reference and controlled equipment samples, full defectiveness of the controlled equipment sample is determined.
EFFECT: invention is characterised by high efficiency, sensitivity and reliability of diagnosing full defectiveness of equipment under tension.
