FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture and namely to soil erosion. As per the method, slits are cut in soil during the autumn season across the slope so that the above slits can be filled with mulch - plant remains. At that, in order to improve the quality of moisture accumulation and preservation process, slit profile bottom shall be ridge-shaped. Slit extends in its upper part and is mulched with plant residues; at that, slit extension in its upper part is made as per inclined plane.
EFFECT: method allows increasing preservation efficiency of melt waters on spring and precipitations in autumn and summer on slope soils.
