FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to airfield equipment, particularly, to improvement of environmental conditions. Proposed method comprises varying aircraft engine gas jet direction and increasing mixing of off-gases and/or varying gas jet flow density with ambient air and concentration of harmful substances by arranging obstacles for gas flows. In making obstacles, vortex total flow of gas jets is prepared. Obstacle is made by using shield arranged equidistant relative to aircraft motion, or by forcing air or neutral gas, or mix of air with neutral gas or fluid in, Blow is performed through holes in runway coat across or toward gas flow direction. Shield is made up of baffle comprising carcass coated by solid or perforated heat-resistant material. Said carcass is made in the form of parabola and secured on movably base at rigid extending posts while carcass proper is driven by airfield equipment carrier.
EFFECT: reduced concentration of harmful substances in surface layer.
