DEVICE FOR SUPPLY OF LUBRICANT TO ROLLING BEARINGS OF SUPPORT UNIT Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F16C33/66 

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device for supply of lubricant to rolling bearings of support unit consists of oil bath (10) formed with case of bearings, of channels for supply of lubricant to bearing positioned on shaft (6) and of sprayer (12). The device is additionally equipped with air pump installed in the bearing case and connected with sprayer (12) by means of pipelines (8, 11) through ejector (9), ejecting nozzle of which is connected with outlet branch (7) of the air pump. Ejector (9) is immersed in bath (10) below oil level. The air pump is made in form of spiral case (1) with working wheel (4) installed in it; the working wheel is of open type with blades (5) radial or inclined in the direction of working wheel rotation. Wheel (4) is set on shaft (6) and rotates together with it. For convenient assembly case (1) of the air pump is made with an axial slot and is fixed on the bearing case by means of pins.

EFFECT: device for bearing lubrication built in case of bearing, compact and independent from external systems, efficient and accurately supplying oil in form of fine dispersed jet simultaneously cooling bearing with compressed air.
