FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: system includes group 1 of angular speed sensors, group 2 of acceleration sensors, three-component magnetometer 3, analogue-to-digital converter 4, analogue signal processing device 5, digital signal processing device 6, computer 7, logic device 8, and memory unit 9. Devices newly introduced to the system determine position of aircraft on the ground or in the air as per signals supplied from airborne equipment unit, and depending on this, either state of the system is recorded to memory unit, or state of the system is recovered based on the data stored in memory unit.

EFFECT: higher reliability of system owing to automatic recovery of working state after short-time failure of airborne power supply during evolution of spatial position of aircrafts.
