SUBSTANCE: method includes the following: generation of a root content key with application of an open key of a computer at a receiving client, transfer of the root content key to a computer of a receiving client. data segments of multimedia file are coded, to provide coded data segments, besides, each data segment is coded by means of an appropriate sheet key of content; and descriptors are added to each of coded data segments, besides, each of descriptors of coded data segments identifies a sheet content key.
EFFECT: provision of digital multimedia protection by addition of descriptors to each of coded data segments.
