FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: one object of invention refers to system consisting of: internal casing forming cavity for reception of high-level radioactive wastes; also, cavity has top and bottom; external casing enveloping internal casing so, that there is formed space between internal and internal casings; at least one orifice in internal casing on bottom of cavity or in its vicinity; also, at least one orifice forms pass from space to cavity; removable cover positioned over internal and external casings, also, removable cover has at least one inlet ventilation channel forming pass from atmosphere into space and at least one outlet ventilation channel forming pass from cavity into atmosphere. Another object of the invention refers to the procedure for implementation of the system for storage of high-level radioactive wastes, especially below level of earth.
EFFECT: reduced radioactive radiation during procedures of loading or successive storage.
