SUBSTANCE: basic station may also generate and transfer one or more beacon radio signals, which may be used by means of UE to search for neighbouring cells, in order to detect neighbouring cells. Number of beacon radio signals for transfer and a set of subcarriers suitable for use for each beacon radio signal, may be determined on the basis of system passband. Each beacon radio signal may be converted into one subcarrier from a set of subcarriers in each period of beacon radio signal symbol. This subcarrier may be determined on the basis of template of frequency hopping of beacon radio signal or code of beacon radio signal and may depend on a cell identifier (ID).
EFFECT: increased efficiency of synchronisation signals transfer, for this purpose the basic station for cell generates and transfers the main signal of synchronisation and an additional signal of synchronisation, which may be used by UE for initial cell searching when energised.
