FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: technologies are described for assignment of sequences of primary synchronisation code (PSC) and sequences of secondary synchronisation code (SSC) to cells in a wireless communication system. At least one PSC-sequence and several SSC-sequences may be used for several cells in the unit B. In one circuit the available SSC-sequences in the system may be arranged into groups, at the same time each group includes M different SSC-sequences. Additional groups from M SSC-sequences may be formed with the help of different shifts (for instance, various cyclic shifts) of each group from M SSC-sequences. In one circuit three SSC-sequences SSC(G1), SSC(G2) and SSC(G3) may be used for three cells in one unit B. The first shift that includes SSC(G3), SSC(G1) and SSC(G2), may be used for three cells in the other unit B. The second shift, including SSC(G2), SSC(G3) and SSC(G1), may be used for three cells in another unit B.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of cells detection for UE.
