SUBSTANCE: invention refers to respiratory face masks longitudinally extensible and compressible to conform with user's jaw motions. The filtration respiratory face mask 10 comprises a support structure 16 and a filter insert 18. The support structure 16 contains the first and second transversally extended elements 26 and 28 which can come together and move apart longitudinally. The filter insert 18 has a filter bed 52 and a fold 58. The fold 58 enables the filter insert stretching when the first and second transversally extended elements move towards each other and from each other respectively.
EFFECT: pleat-like extensible and compressible ability of the mask support allows better conforming with user's jaw motions.
