FIELD: individual protective means.
SUBSTANCE: face-piece fold-flat respirator comprising a mask body and a harness. Mask body comprises the filtering structure including two cover webs and the filtration layer comprising electrically charged microfibers. Filtering structure is folded back upon itself to form a fold in the mask nasal area, so that the fold width is at least 1 cm or more, and it runs over the mask body upper perimeter, generally straight, when the respirator is folded. Filtering structure has a buckle more than 0.5 mm and restorability rate at lease 40 % when folded. Advantage of is mask design is that it is no need to use a nose element of a foamed material to achieve a close fit of the respirator over the wearer's nose.
EFFECT: respirator with inner fold in closely fitting nasal area.
