SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to respirators which are usually used by an individual over airways, at least for prevention of contaminating agent or particle penetration in the user's airways. A flat fold filter face respiratory mask 10 comprises: a mask base 12 having a transversally extended boundary line 22, a longitudinal axis 34, and a lashing strap system attached to the mask base. First 32a and second 32b structures formed by welded joints which are arranged from both sides of the longitudinal axis 34 respectively above the boundary line and do not cross the boundary line 22. Third 32c and fourth 32d structures formed by welded joints are arranged below the axis 34 and do not cross the boundary line 22. Each of the first 32a, second 32b, third 32c and fourth 32d structures formed by welded joints is a closed two-dimensional structure.

EFFECT: mask base with such collection of the structures formed by welded joints exhibit good crumpling stability and does not require to introduce additional or more dense layers in its construction necessarily causing greater air pressure drop on a filtering element.
