FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises measuring and adjusting charge of materials to be crushed and measuring water and plasticiser flow rate. To optimise controlled parameters, reduce power losses and stabilise slime quality, slime viscosity and moisture content at mill outlet are measured. Besides, chemical composition of crushed materials at mill inlet and outlet is measured. Additionally, mill yield and slime density at mill outlet are measured. Water and plasticiser feed are minimised according to slime viscosity and moisture content. Feed of materials to be crushed is adjusted according to measured mill efficiency and slime feed. Additionally, ratio and feed of materials are adjusted according to measured chemical composition and slime chemical composition at mill outlet.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption, higher quality of crushing.
