FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway diesel locomotives with ICE power plants with supercharging. Proposed power plant comprises braking system compressor driven by ICE, rpm controller connected with ambient air temperature controller output and ambient air temperature pickup connected to the latter that comprises comparator and setting unit. note here that comparator is connected to output of electronic amplifier provided with nonlinear feedback unit. Note here that electronic amplifier output is connected to input of magnetic amplifier with rectifier with its output connected to rpm controller made up of powder electromagnetic couplings incorporated with braking system compressor drive.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption for compressed air generation for braking system.
