FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of air pump with pneumatic cylinder and pneumatic piston, of air cavity, of supply shutting off devices, of exhaust shutting off devises, of control element and its air intake orifice. The pneumatic piston travels in axial direction in the pneumatic cylinder. The air cavity is formed between the pneumatic cylinder and pneumatic piston. Devices shutting off supply are used for shutting off air supply into the air pump. Devices shutting off exhaust are used for shutting off air exhaust from the air pump. The control element for drive of the air pump travels in axial direction. The air intake orifice in the control element enters the said air cavity. A part of the pneumatic piston forms devices, shutting off supply. This part contacts an internal wall of the control element at their relative axial travel. It also facilitates shutting off supply of air into the air pump.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of operation.
