FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: oxygen containing process gas is passed through agglomeration charge at three successively located sections of agglomeration tape. Also, exhaust gas from the first section and exhaust gas from the third section are joined directly under the first section into mixed gas supplied to the second section of the agglomeration machine as process gas, while exhaust gas generated at the second section is withdrawn from the agglomeration machine as waste gas. Path of exhaust gas from the third section to the region of mixing is longer, than the path of exhaust gas transportation from the first section to the said region.
EFFECT: reduced problems related to corrosion due to reduced path of transportation of cold exhaust gas from first section to point of joining with hot exhaust gas from third section.
