FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises housing with working surface, rotor intake and discharge openings. "П"-shape vanes are fitted in cylindrical rotor grooves. Rollers arranged in races arranged on both sides of vane axles. Housing working surface is made up of cylindrical surface formed by motion of straight line perpendicular to rotor rotational plane, along the guide line. The latter is formed by rotation of straight line section located on arm running from rotor center and equal to maximum constant distance in radial direction between race central line and rotor outer contour. Race central line is made up of large and small radius circle parts connected by parallel straight lines, or, of ellipsoid, or of cassionid with relationship 
where a is constant, c is distance from cassionid center to its focuses.
EFFECT: higher power output, fuel savings reduced overall dimensions.
