FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: adolescent's venous blood is examined for erythrocyte superoxide dismutase activity (Asod, st. unit/g Hb), and reduced glutathione concentration (Crg, mcMole/g Hb). If observing the condition 573≤Asod≤1945 and Crg> 11, arterial hypertension is diagnosed. If the conditions Asod>1945 and 5≤Crg≤11 are presented, hypertensive neurocirculatory dystonia is diagnosed.
EFFECT: use of the method provides high reliability differential diagnostics of arterial hypertension and hypertensive neurocirculatory dystonia in adolescents.
