METHOD OF CALLING TAXI AND SENDING ORDERS TO DRIVER Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC G06Q50/00 G08G1/123

Abstract RU 2429538 C1

FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method involves using a means of communication and sending messages to the central computer system (SCS) of a taxi. The SCS automatically selects a car corresponding to the call and sends the driver information on the call. The message is sent using an instant messaging program, for example ICQ or Mail.ru-agent. Messaging is carried out by sending to the SCS a symbol or a set of symbols corresponding to the required instruction or response. The caller sends any symbol to a known ICQ number or Mail.ru-agent account. The SCS automatically sends a text message to the caller with a request to enter their telephone number. After receiving the telephone number of the caller, the SCS sends to the caller text messages with a list of options, each corresponding to its own symbol with a request to chose from the list the required option. The caller sends the respective symbol to the SCS. The SCS automatically interprets these instructions and notifies the caller on the time the car will be available. A driver on the line communicates with the SCS via standard messages, each corresponding to a defined symbol or group of symbols by sending to the SCS a message consisting of a set of symbols separated by a comma. Each set of symbols between commas corresponds to information on parameters of the caller or parameters of the work of the driver, which is interpreted by the SCS.

EFFECT: invention provides an affordable and reliable process of calling a taxi and sending orders to the driver, monitoring transportation of passengers on a taxi when executing an order and taking into account of various factors of the work of each taxi and the entire fleet when servicing passengers.
