FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device includes base, lifting table, traverse, receiver, movable perforated plate, pneumatic cylinder and fixed perforated plate. Movable perforated plate serves as valve, and fixed plate is bottom part of receiver. On movable perforated plate fixed on stock of pneumatic cylinder there fixed are rubber seals with possibility of covering the holes in fixed perforated plate. Opening and closing of the valve is performed by means of wedge mechanism consisting of wedge and heel.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency and uniformity of seal of moulding sand throughout the volume of the mould at simultaneous simplification of the device, and reduction of power consumption.
