SUBSTANCE: washing machine is made with a control unit and a conductivity sensor arranged in the lower part of a container for a detergent to determine water level or to detect whether water in it is higher or lower than the specified level. Readings of the conductivity sensor are transmitted to the control unit to control pump operation, and also to add fresh water to eliminate excessive foam in the detergent container and in a drum, also to stop the drum, in order to discharge the excessive foam.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability.
