FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to body-fat mass measurement devices. The device comprises a unit attached to a body for bioelectric impedance measurement provided with a support for a number of electrodes, and a belt. The belt has a stretched zone. The electrode support accommodates a fastening section connected to one end of the belt, and a holder for movably retaining the section near the other end of the belt, comprising a belt length adjustment mechanism. The device also integrates a stretched belt shift measurer, and a control section of the belt length adjustment mechanism managed on the basis of the data evaluated by the belt shift measurer.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables high-precision body-fat mass measurement.
