FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: axial fan includes housing, sleeve with electric drive and impeller, which is installed on it on radial spokes; at that, the farthest sleeve end from impeller projects out of the housing, and protective screen arranged between housing and sleeve and made in the form of threadlike element passing in series from inside the bore through initial radial slot of sleeve and radial hole of the housing to outer surface of the housing and then through adjacent radial hole of the housing and radial sleeve slot closest to the above mentioned inward the bore; after that, through radial slot which is the closest to the last one and then in similar way to radial slot which is the closest to initial one.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability and simpler design.
