SUBSTANCE: claimed axial fan can be used as part of thermal control systems for products of rocket and space technology. Existing axial fans have high aerodynamic resistance and insufficient vibration resistance. Axial fan comprises a housing of two parts fastened by means of a centering connection, a sleeve installed in the housing with radial protrusions having an outer spherical surface in contact with the conical surfaces of the first and second parts of the housing facing each other, as well as an electric motor placed inside the sleeve with a motor mounted on its shaft. working wheel. The radial protrusions are made in the form of straightener blades, and both parts of the body are provided with flanges, tightened to each other by means of fasteners, and the flanges are installed with a given axial clearance.
EFFECT: reduction of aerodynamic resistance with a simultaneous increase in the vibration resistance of the axial fan.
