FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: according to procedure ends of pipes are quipped with connectors width of which exceeds zone of thermal destruction of casing. Internal surface of pipes is lined with plastic casing. As connectors there are used rings with tapers made along external diametre from an internal side. Tapers are also made along external diametre of the pipe where upon plastic casing is drawn. Its length exceeds length of the pipe at distance required for welding. There is installed a heating element. Ends of plastic casings are brought to a viscous-fluid condition. Pipes are butt jointed and welded along tapers of external diametre of the rings. A connector is put on a lug of one of casings as far, as it rests on the ring. The lug of the second casing is inserted into the connector as far, as it maximally rests on the ring, where upon the connector with ends of plastic casings are brought to the viscous-fluid condition. Thickness of the connector is chosen as at least equal to thickness of the casing.

EFFECT: facilitation of high strength of welding seam due to large surface of melt of external surface of casing and internal surface of plastic part by means of insert heater.
