FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method of constructing a pipeline relates to construction and can be used in constructing and repairing pipelines, particularly those damaged by aggressive action of aggressive transported oil and gas medium and can be used in other industries as well. Connecting elements used are bevelled rings, where bevel edges are made on the outer diametre on the inner side. Bevel edges are also made on the outer diametre of the pipe, after which a plastic cover is stretched, with length greater than the length of the pipe. A heating element is installed between ends of the covers. The ends of the plastic covers are brought to a state of viscous flow. The pipes are connected end to end and welding is done along bevel edges of the outer diametre.
EFFECT: method of constructing pipelines, involving fitting pipe ends with connecting elements, widths of which exceed the thermal breakdown zone of covers, lining pipeline inner surface with a plastic cover.
