FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: contact heat regenerator includes vertical housing with heat exchange media supply and discharge connection pipes and contact head piece with sprinkler, which is installed between them. In contact head piece there arranged is discharge connection pipe made in the form of the shell on which there mounted are heat exchange elements located in rows as to height of contact head piece. In to the above connection pipe there installed is overflow pipe with formation of annular gap between their walls, and the open end of pipe faces the shell bottom. Flow passage of holes of cone ring is made so that it converges towards the housing wall. So high collection efficiency of water vapours and operating reliability of the device is provided with easy-to-manufacture and easy-to-use devices. Cleaning of fine fogs to controlled residual concentration is carried out.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency by intensification of heat-and-mass exchange and maximum condensation of water vapours at use of their cooling through head piece.
