FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in units for water heating by waste combustion gases of boiler rooms or heat units. The contact heat regenerator with the drop catcher contains a contact nozzle with a sprinkler at the level of which the drop catcher comprising a branch pipe in the form of a barrel for discharge of the exchange medium is mounted. Heat exchange elements are located in rows at the level of the contact nozzle. In the barrel for discharge of heat exchange medium the bypass pipe is mounted. Between walls of the named barrel and the bypass pipe the circular gap is formed. The bypass pipe end faces towards the barrel bottom. From the barrel bottom the bypass pipe is fitted with a cap. Heat exchange elements are implemented hollow and filled with the flowing heat exchange medium. Cavities of heat exchange elements are interconnected both with the bypass pipe, and with the circular gap of the named discharge branch pipe. Cleaning of fine fogs to controlled residual concentration is performed.
EFFECT: high efficiency of catching of water vapour is provided.
