SUBSTANCE: composite mark includes a substrate on which there is a multilayer polymer structure, on whose layers there a spatially partially overlapping relief hologram and/or diffraction grating structure and an information field with recorded digital information in form of discrete elements of a two-dimensional code. The information field consists of at least two different parts, one of which serves as a machine-readable attribute identifier which authenticates the relief hologram and/or diffraction grating structure and/or contains basic information which is the key for reading information from one or more data bases in the other part of the information field, which particularly facilitate the authentication operation.

EFFECT: high volume of information and protection with low cost of production.
