FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: composite mark has a multilayered film structure with layers on which information is recorded. On the surface of one or more layers, there are spatially set regions of a microrelief with a random shape. Microreliefs are formed in layers of the mark due to difference in wettability of fluorescent dyes and polymer layers. After optical digital processing and cryptographic coding, the shape of the microrelief is recorded into pre-marked fluorescent regions lying on different layers of the multilayer structure in form of an encoded sequence of symbols and serves as unique characteristic for authentication of the mark.
EFFECT: high information content and protection with low cost.
