FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of microporous multilayer membranes and may be used for fabricating storage battery separators. Proposed membrane comprises microporous layer made from polyethylene resin, and microporous layer made from polypropylene and thermal resin with fusion or vitrification temperature of 170°C or higher. Or, membrane has microporous layer made from polyethylene resin, and microporous layer made from polypropylene and inorganic filler with relation between filler particle long and short axes making 2 or more. Content of inorganic filler makes 0.1-15 wt % per 100% of resin component in mixed layer of polypropylene/inorganic filler.
EFFECT: well-balanced permeability, mechanical strength, anti-thermosetting properties.
