SUBSTANCE: proposed transducer comprises module (212) for light bean scanning, partial wave front focusing lens (220), detector (222) with several light-sensitive sections, and processor to compute consecutively obtained centroids of multiple focused light spots from partial wave fronts to define aberration of incoming wave front. Proposed method comprises sequential projecting of multiple partial wave fronts by wave front epicycle on partial wave focusing lens and light spot centroid detector, light spot being focused on image outside of centroid trace. It comprises also defocusing and/or astigmatism, focus adjustment of astigmatism adjustment in imager optical system ahead of wave front transducer, to reduce defocusing and/or astigmatism to minimum.
