FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Apparatus for providing feedback during a vision correction procedure includes a real time wavefront sensor for measuring the wavefront characteristics from a biological eye; real time video camera for capturing digital images and/or recording video movies of a biological eye; computer, coupled to the real time wavefront sensor and real time video camera, with the computer including a digital video recorder for enabling synchronized data processing, recording, display and playback, of both the recorded wavefront data and the recorded video movie of the eye; display, connected to the computer, for simultaneously displaying on the same screen the processed wavefront measurement result and the video of the eye image, and the recorded video movie of a biological eye. Method involves the steps of: measuring the wavefront of an optical beam with a real time wavefront sensor; capturing a video of a scene from which the optical beam comes; storage of the measured wavefront of an optical beam aberrations and collected data on video images; synchronizing the measured wavefront of an optical beam aberrations and collected data on video images and simultaneous displaying information of the wave front and video frames of a biological eye.
EFFECT: using the given group of inventions will allow to adapt operations with data collected or recorded by the device for each user.
