SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of encoding information on multiple image types into an image signal (200), involving: adding to the image signal (200) a first image (220) of pixel values representing one or more objects (110, 112) captured by a first camera (101); adding to the image signal (200) a map (222) containing corresponding values for corresponding sets of pixels of the first image (220), said corresponding values representing a three-dimensional position in space of the region of one or more objects (110, 112) represented by the set of pixels; and adding to the image signal (200) a partial presentation (223) of the second image (224) of pixel values representing one or more objects (110, 112) captured by a second camera (102), wherein the partial presentation (223) containing at least information on the majority of pixels representing the region of one or more objects (110, 112) are not visible for the first camera (101).

EFFECT: high accuracy of results when converting to different formats, such as a set of types with intermediate types which, in addition, do not contain a large amount of data.
