FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to method of fabrication of diamond drilling tool comprising stem with working layer and axial coolant passage bore. Proposed method comprises moulding and heat treating of mix material arranged in mould and containing diamond powder and metal binder powder, and making bore in working layer. Note here that working layer is briquetted and welded to stem. Coolant bore is drilled by laser or electric spark.
EFFECT: higher hardness of tool.
