FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rocket engine includes, at least, one nozzle that consists of immovable part and, at least, one head fixed at immovable part by means of release mechanism. Release mechanism includes a pusher connected with the head and installed with the possibility of longitudinal movement to frame performed at head immovable part. Pusher is fixed at the frame by cams and balls with ring seal covering them that is installed at the pusher with the possibility of longitudinal movement. Pusher is performed in a form of two hollow cylinders of different diameter coaxially connected between themselves and forming a shoulder at its inner and outer surfaces. Both cylindrical surfaces of pusher outer shoulder contact ring seal that has L-shaped section and form locking cavity with the pusher connected to pyro cartridge. Frame outer surface is performed with similar shoulder, the cylindrical areas of which contact the pusher and form under-piston cavity. Under-piston cavity and locking cavity has or has no gas-connection between themselves.
EFFECT: invention provides rocket engine structure simplicity and safety, decrease of its weight at provision of required total burn.
