FIELD: rocket manufacture, in particular, nozzles with altitude compensation.
SUBSTANCE: the nozzle with altitude compensation has in its supersonic section one or several overlapped ring slots, the supersonic section of the nozzle is made of a terrestrial nozzle and one or several nozzle probes, and the mentioned slots are made in the form of radial clearances between the ground nozzle exit section, nozzle probe exit sections and the exit surfaces of the respective probes, the nozzle probes are movable relative to the axis of the terrestrial nozzle and coupled to it by the mechanism of their axial motion.
EFFECT: provided enhancement of the payload injected to orbit, or the flying range of the flight vehicle due to the engine thrust increment within a wide range of variation of the flight altitude of the flight vehicle.
