FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: rocket engine nozzle comprises a bell, the first adapter, an outer telescopic adapter, an expander for changing of nozzle from folded position to working position, as well as expansion drives. The first adapter is formed by tabs with the elements of kinematic connection of the tabs with the bell, providing reduction of the gap between the outer telescopic adapter and tabs in folded position. Expanders and expansion drives are made each for its own adapter, wherein expander and expansion drive of the first adapter are autonomous. Folded tab generatrix drawn through the plane of tab mirror plane is parallel with bell generatrix drawn through the same plane. The elements of kinematic connection of the tabs with the bell contain pantographs interconnecting the adjacent tabs. Each pantograph has a lengthwise beam connected with each of two adjacent tabs by two hinged plates. Each tab is connected with the bell by a guide element disposed on the symmetry plane of the tab. Expansion drive of the first adapter is formed in the longitudinal beams and is kinematically connected to the plates.

EFFECT: invention enables to increase the density of nozzle layout in a rocket with limited diameter of the nozzle in folded position and fixed expansion ratio.
