FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of sections with individual supply of heat carrier each consisting of case 3 mounted on poles 4 over sintering carriages 5. Length of each section is 0.15-0.25 of length of charge sintering area. Box 6 in form of pipe with slit-like orifices 7 for supply of heat carrier is set inside case 3 of each section. Plates 8 limiting flow of heat carrier are secured with incline on opposite walls of case 3. Distance between free ends of plates 8 is not less, than 0.94 of width of furnace bar field of sintering carriages 5 and does not exceed them. Ratio of diametre of box 6 to width of furnace bars field is 0.25-0.35.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of agglomerate and solid fuel saving due to uniform supply of heat carrier into layer of sintered charge.
