SUBSTANCE: device includes a server having a server synchronisation module to identify structured content types shared by the server and a client, and synchronise structured content corresponding to the structured content types. Structured content corresponding to structured content types can be synchronised after identification. That way, synchronisation can be focused on shared structured content as identified by the structured content types, rather than the entire set of data stored by the client and/or server. Accordingly, synchronisation time and resources may be reduced, thereby enhancing overall device operations and network services for a user.
