SUBSTANCE: method comprises the following steps: receiving a message with a request to update a list of container members, wherein said message is sent on a session initiation protocol (SIP) for instant messaging and presence leveraging extensions (SIMPLE) and contains a container section presented in extensible markup language (XML), wherein the container section includes: a container identifier; a group of members; and in response to said request, the list of container members is updated to modify access of the group of members. The system implements the said method. A computer-readable data medium contains a program code for executing the said method in a computer system.
EFFECT: high computational and network efficiency of presence servers which contain a collection of publications.
