FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: in a scaled connected many sided and distributed multimedia conference call a centralised component of policies and management of a conference call ensure transparent connection of various distributed multimedia components (for instance, data, audio/video, message exchange), in order to adapt the client participation in a conference session. The centralised component of conference management comprises the following: a service of notices about conferences to receive subscriptions for the conference status and notify subscribers on changes of such status; a service to manage conference policies and lists to save and manage conference policy and lists; a service to provide security for authorisation/authentication of users on the basis of users identification information; a service of dispatching to dispatch a conference; a service of dedication to dedicate the most available multimedia component (components) for the conference session; and a service of MCU control to control policies of conferences and lists of distributed multimedia components.

EFFECT: reduced required resources for administration of conference call systems.
