FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to otolaryngology, and can be applied in treatment of Reinke-Hayek edema. Essence of method lies in influencing biological tissues with physical factor. Polypously changed mucous membrane is ablated with larynx electrode of cold-plasma apparatus "Coblator II" in direct support laryngoscopy under control of operation microscope with green light filter. Tissues are dissected with narrowly focused "cold" sodium plasma within the limits of superficial layer of lamina propria of vocal cord with preservation of functionally essential ultrastructures. Preliminarily before surgery by means of atraumatic forceps carried out is medial traction of polypously changed mucous membrane of affected vocal cord.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to select optimal place of dissection of vocal cord within the limits of superficial layer of lamina propria, prevent excessive injury of underlying vessels, achieve maximally possible preservation of unchanged mucous membrane of vocal cords, quickly recover voice function.
