SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of veterinary and lies in feeding a representative of Felidae composition, which contains iodine within the range from approximately 0.1 to less than 1 mg/kg, either iodine in the range from approximately 0.1 to less than 1 mg/kg and selenium in the range from approximately 0.1 to less than 1 mg/kg in terms of dry substance, together with introduction to a Felida of antithyroid agent.
EFFECT: application of claimed inventions creates effect of synergism in case of combined introduction of composition and antithyroid agent, which is expressed in reduction of total T4 and creatinin, as well as reduction of amount of applied antithyroid agent.
