FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of separation of heterogeneous fluid systems under action of centrifugal forces, in particular, to hydraulic cyclones for separation of suspensions with floatation, and may be used in chemical, petrochemical, microbiological, pulp and paper and other industries. The hydraulic cyclone-flotator comprises a cylindrical vessel with a cover, nozzles for supply of initial product, for removal of foam and clarified fluid. The inner surface of the body wall is made in the form of a helical surface of sinusoid profile, threading direction of which coincides with direction of separated suspension flow rotation, the distance between the ledges of which increases, and amplitude decreases in axial direction as it moves away from the nozzle to supply the initial product. In the body wall there is a thermal electric heater, winding turns of which are arranged at the axis of symmetry of each ledge on the helical surface of the body.
EFFECT: increased separation capacity of the hydraulic cyclone-flotator due to increasing thickness of suspension film and time of separated suspension staying in the hydraulic cyclone, and also due to reduction of intensity of attenuation of flow speed circumferential component in direction of hydraulic cyclone axis, increased fullness of speed circumferential component radial distribution curve and increased kinetic coefficient of floatation.
