FIELD: separation of heterogeneous liquid systems under action of centrifugal forces; separation of suspensions; chemical, petrochemical, microbiological, wood-pulp and paper industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic cyclone includes cylindrical housing with supply branch pipe and cover, unloading unit and foam discharge branch pipe; supply branch pipe is made in form of injector having housing in form of Laval nozzle; it is mounted concentrically for longitudinal motion of air supply tube terminating on narrowing section of injector housing; its wall is perforated outer generatrix of horizontal section of injector housing is engageable with cylindrical surface of hydraulic cyclone housing. Separating capacity of hydraulic cyclone is increased due to attenuation of circumferential component of velocity of flow in way of axis of hydraulic cyclone.
