FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: backbone of sectional book includes several parts joined so that in the closed condition the parts of the backbone are the limiter of notebooks with fixtures, and in the open condition they make it possible for the notebooks and the book cover to disconnect. At the same time there is a facility to connect parts of the backbone. The backbone is extended in two planes perpendicular to the plane of the backbone and arranged along the cover sides adjacent to the side that is connected to the backbone. In these planes there are extreme points of backbone parts connection line, and in the extreme points the backbone parts are connected by clamps.
EFFECT: solution increases convenience of book usage, also when inserting sheets at the backbone side.
